A Little About Me

As an Exercise Physiologist, I have worked with thousands of seniors of various shapes, goals, and learning styles since 2004. I am the author of the bookĀ Preventing Decline: Move with Purpose and a public speaker on slowing the aging processes by living a lifestyle of movement. I received a masterā€™s degree in applied Exercise Science from Concordia University Chicago and a bachelorā€™s degree in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University. I am also a certified Exercise Physiologist from the American College of Sports Medicine and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner. I enjoy going on trips with my family of four kids and vacations one-on-one with my wife because I feel strongly those are two separate things. To stay active, I love to play basketball, lifts weights, and go trail running near my home in St. George, Utah.
